S120 CU320 ActualPosition Direction

How I can do for clockwise turn the actual position to be decreasing without changing of phases of the motor. From p410[x].1 I am inverting actual position value, but then also I have to change the phases of motor supply. Is there any way change the increasing and decreising the actual position value for clockwise turn without changing phases of motor supply. Best regards,

In the axes there are a couple of parameters that can be selected for both = yes or no that should swap direction. One is for the feedbackand the other for the drive commanded setpoint. Following is the ST code to set them. to_Axis.setconfigdata.TypeofAxis.NumberOfEncoders.Encoder_1. InversCountDirection.encoderFeedbackPolarity := yes; to_Axis.setconfigdata.TypeofAxis.SetpointDriverInfo.InvertSetpoint.invSetpoint := yes;

Bhaskaran Posts: 107 Rating: (13)	The servo motor is not the same as Induction motor. Please don't try to change the direction of the motor by swapping 2 phases of the servo motor leads. This can be fatal.

Therefore if you want to change direction of motor, I think you can configure paramter of driver of SINAMICS. You canchange p1821, but you have to set p10=3( motor commision) before you change p1821.
