S120 CU320 Profibus config telegram error

insolitus Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Hi forum experts, As the title says I am having Profibus problems with a S120 CU320 2 DP. I am trying to control it via a Beckhoff FC3101 (using TwinCAT) as Profibus master and it acknowledges the correct baudrate, i.e. r963 correctly specifies 12Mbit, the correct master address and it tells that the connection is ok, i.e. r2054 specifies Connection OK (baud rate found). My problem is that I get the fault message '1900 : PB/PN: Configuration telegram error(2)'. I have, as far as I know, the correct GSD-file but do not know any way to actually look at the sent config data in order to see where the problem lies. I can see the CfgData in TwinCAT but do not know what to compare it to to see if it is correct. Do anyone know how this CfgData should look like? Or have somebody run into this problem before? I hope I have not excluded any important information above. Any help or pointers in the right direction is most welcome! Thanks in advance! Andreas Ps. I am fairly new on the Profibus so there might very well be a newbie-mistake I have made, but have tried to follow manuals and instructions as closely as possible to avoid it

Can you make a screenshot of the GSD Configuration you created which we can see the Telegram configurations? Regards Christoph

I have three channels, A B C, all configured with telegram 3. Next screenshot in next post as I don't seem to be able to include more than one here... Have you a overview of the telegram sequence of the drive in starter? On a CU320 normaly you have a ControlUnit which can send/Receive telegrams and the Drive Objects. If you Control unit is on the first index in the communication then the telegram is to long, in this case you should put the Control unit in Starter to the end of the Communication list. insolitus Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Yes, I have only "Antrieb 1", configured as three axis, each axis with telegram 3. I attach a screenshot from the telegram configuration in Starter wich I believe is the one you ask for. Do you think you could develope further what you mean with order of the communication list, or point me to the documentation that details it? Thanks for your time Christoph! In the CU320 is a sequence logic which object in SINAMICS get which telegram. In you case : SMC_20 Object -> Get the first PROFIBUS Telegram (First Slot ) S_INF_02 -> Get the second Telegram In your Twincar you have configured the following: Antrieb_1 -> First Telegram Slot Antrieb_2 -> Second Telegram Slot Antrieb_3 -> Third Telegram Slot Depends on your configuration the telegram for Antrieb_1 in TwinCat is mapped on the Object SMC_20 , Antrieb_2 to S_INF_02, Antrieb_3 to SERVO_03. toDo: Offline: Please select the SMC_20 in the List in STARTER and arrange it after SERVO_05, then select the S_INF_02 and arrange it after the SMC_20 in the list. Go Online and download the project to CU320, now the error should be disappear. Regards Christoph

insolitus Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Yes you are absolutly right! The config fault is gone and I have some faults that seem be caused by some timing issue. But I wont bother you with them yet, I might get back if I can't figure it out though. Thank you very much! Regards Andreas

insolitus Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Now I get lots of '1911 : PB/PN clock cycle synchronous operation clock cycle failure' Tdp is set to 2000us both in the master and in Starter (r2064[1]) And also sometimes '1921 : PB/PN Receive setpoints after To' To(r2064[4]) is 500us and Tdx(r2064[5]) is 290us, so To>Tdx is satisfied.
