S120 Fault F1611 (6072)

DavidBrown Gold Member Joined: 6/29/2012 Last visit: 12/25/2023 Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	We have CU320-2 FW4.7 connected to S7 400 by profinet for standard communication and to S7 315F by same profinet network for safety communication. So the drives are configured as shared device. The drives are working, safety by profisafe (315F) is working. But sometimes when we power everything off and on again we get fault F1611 (defect in a monitoring channel) (detail fault : 1611). We are not able to reset this error. Included are screenshots of the fault and configuration. The proposed remedy for the fault in the help seems not necessary, the settings are already ok. What could be the other reasons for this faults, and why can't we reset the fault. The internal event acknowledge bit in the telegram is set high when we reset, this should not be the problem. If power is put on plc and drives, there may be differences in startup time of drives and plc's, but that should not be a reason for not being able to reset faults. Apart from this sporadic problem, the configuration is working ok. Attachment Flt1611.zip (142 Downloads)

pash Advanced Member Joined: 8/5/2010 Last visit: 4/5/2024 Posts: 27 Rating: (1)	Dear Experts, I'm getting similar fault. 3 motor modules are connected to simotion D445 via extension control card CX32 Fault only occurs to the first motor module that is connected via drive cliq cable to the extension control card. The other two modules do not get the fault. I have checked the safety circuit and all seems to be ok. The help file on the fault does not much remedies for the fix either. Have already replaced the motor module with a brand new one, but the fault still happens randomly. Sometime power recycle does not hep either. Any solutions for it will be highly appreciated?
