Thank you. Its a very useful catalog. It seems that the main difference between different series of Sinamics is related to their power modules not their control units. am I right? Best regards |

Hello Betateta; There are many differences between the famiies of Sunamics drives, that go further than their power and control modules, such as their recommended applications and control techniques. This manual shuld be able to provide enough information for you to understand the specifixcs of each drive family. - Engineering Manual SINAMICS G130, G150, S120 Chassis, S120 Cabinet Modules, S150 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/83180185 Hope this helps, |

G1x0 - general purpose drive a150 - higher power (typically) with prebuilt cabinet of components That's my understanding as a simple end-user. I use Siemens Sizer software to help determine the right drive type and size.
