S120 Incorrect motor parameter (314)

Hello,

I'm trying to commision a S120 with a Parker SMB60 motor, however i get error:F07950 (A) Drive: Incorrect motor parameter(p314).

I checked the datasheet of the motor and the motor seems to have 8 poles, thus 4 pole pairs.

This is correctly set in the parameters.

Any ideas?

According to the build-in help for p310:

For synchronous motors, the parameter is not required and must therefore be pre-assigned zero. For p0310 = 0, it is not possible to calculate the pole pair; instead, it must be entered in p0314.

Are we to assume (or guess) your motor is a synchronous motor?  That was not disclosed until you were trying to defend your prior post about setting the parameter to 0.

When such important information is withheld, any suggestions are subject to change without notice.
