Hi, I have a problem in Labview profinet communication with S120, F01910. My Question. Is this application is stable and suitable for Windows 10 (Iot Enterprise) + Labview 2016 32 bit? Or is there known issue about profinet F01910 ? Can I try to change a parameter (expert list) about profinet (ex. expand watch dog time) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/99684399 My application is S120 + other brand PLC + NI module. Problem is, windows 10 IoT Enterprise -> After turn on the PC(Adventech) and run Labview program 10 minute, F01910 has occured. windows 7 is OK. First day of install windows7, only 3 times F01910 happened, about after 30 minute after turn on PC(time is not periodic, I think it is random). From then until now is ok. There are 3 ethernet cable connection from PLC, NI module, S120 to PC. To find the cause, we did many test case. Among several test conditions only one obvious happen, when disconnect to NI module, there is no F01910. I changed the lan port, profinet use 1 ethernet card(realtek), and 2 others(plc, NI) use intel ethernet, but there is also F01910. Before try it, profinet and NI or PLC are on same ethernet card. I changed many ethernet port combination, it is not solved. Strangely, F01910 is happened one time after turn on PC. After acknowledge(reset) F01910, then restart labview application, there is no F01910 anymore. But I reboot PC, F01910 has shown one time in 10 minute. In addition, I read and tried to apply below, TIA portal / watchdog time factor changed.. I don't know how do I apply it to cu320(I made .xml for profinet use it on labview, but it is not solve the F01910) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/cr/en/view/109748624 |

Hello jungles; The drive is simply reporting that it has lost fieldbus connection (Profinet or Profibus, depending on your configuration) with other partners in the network. f01910 https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf//ww/en/posts/f01910/112027/?page=0&pageSize=10 SINAMICS G120/G120C (CU 2x0x-2): Fieldbus interface setpoint timeout (F01910) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/105105675 You seem to have tried to take care at the hardware aspects of the communication link. What about the LabView PC or the (unknown) PLC? Do they have any diagnostics on their Profinet connectivity that could be linked to your communication loss with the drive? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello jungles; Updating from a (generally stable) Windows 7 OS to Windows 10 requires attention to the type and version of OS (LTSC, 1709...) and its effects on installed drivers and Windows firewall. For example, look at one of the many articles shared on the forum on this subject: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109755067 Please check the compatibility of all PC software with the selected Windows 10 installation, see if Labview has recommendations or White Papers covering Windows 10 on the subject. Hope this helps, |
