S120, SINAMICS, CU320-2PN

Hi Members, 

Hoping to hear your thoughts/suggestions on commissioning of a SINAMICS SYSTEM. 

Hardware we have, 

CU320-2PN PROFINET with DRIVE CLIQ

ACTIVE LINE MODULE 16kw 400V with DRIVE CLIQ

BASIC LINE FILTER 16kw 400V

S120 SINGLE MOTOR MODULE with DRIVE CLIQ

SERVO MOTOR SIMOTICS S TYPE MODEL 1FK7 with DRIVE CLIQ 

Idea is to test the motor by jogging forward and reverse and record the graphs.

DRIVE CLIQ TOPOLOGY is as follows, 

CU320----X100<-->X200----ALM

CU320----X101<-->X200----SMM

SMM------X201<-->SIMOTICS S

A few request issues we have faced are ALM faults over one or few phases missing.

After configuring the ALM we removed it from the topology and disconnected it from the CU320

However now that we don't have an issue with the phase fault alarm, we now have a ENCODER cyclic data exchange error F 85331 .

It's a Resolver 4 Pole as per the motor name plate but are we missing anything basic here? 

Any help/example application project highly appreciated. 

Hope to see if anyone could shelf some light.

how you configure the motor/encoder in the project?

 Thanks for your response Christoph. 

I have used the wizard in the DRIVE section and added in as a SERVO and told the CU the exact motor type (speed control with encoder) 

Sync motor 1FK7 10.2Nm 3000rpm 7.6A no holding brake

ENCODER - 1000 IDENTIFY ENCODER

Also specified p300 as 1FK7 Sync motor

p301 as 23720 for motor model number

I left p400 as identify encoder as I thought the cu will be able to read the encoder using drive cliq interface but no luck. 

Tried p145 disabling and enabling but no luck so far.

 I have tried it too but it seems p300 is stuck on value 10000 identify motor and does not enable the drive for commissioning.

Only goes away when I specify the Motor and motor model number with encoder type.

Firmware version of CU is 5.2

 Also mind you the motor is an old one from a rewinding service place but has a label that it tested okay 10/2018

I have also tried to run a simple 3ph induction 380-415v star motor on v/f vector control I can hear the drive telling the motor to go but no luck on the motor side. 

I did measure 420v on each ph to earth which is bizzare.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

10000 should be the correct value for offline, after download the motorplate was read from system and the parameter filled out correctly.

So configure offline 10000 download and upload and you should have correct parameters.

have you some topology errors?
Do you have a screen of topolgy online/Offline?

 I shall zip the project and publish it here so you can take a look if I had missed anything.

I can't go online atm but I can send you some info once I'm back in the office tomorrow. 

And in regards to topology errors it did mention about it but it was only a warning so I forced the auto topology correction bit in the cu expert group.
