S210 IRT with XB200

the XB Switch is not a PROFINET IRT Switch, so it can not be configured between two IRT devices .

Hello,

normally S210 is running with DSC and Telegram 105. For this IRT is required.

With RT you get a worse control behavior.  Use a HUB with IRT!!

If not possible, please do " One Bitton Tuning" with Mode  "conservative" and use a setpoint filter.

The speed setpoint filter in conjunction with Profinet RT (S7-1200) improves the running characteristics of the motor. The speed setpoint filter is activated with a time constant greater than zero. The time constant for the speed reference filter (PT1) is set via p1416[0].

Because i do not have so many knowledge of drives, i use V90 and S210 of IRT in my every projects.

At that time , i use Technology objects.

But this time I will use "SINA_POS" Siemens Blocks to control the drives(V90 and S210).

In this post, i can find some information of these two stuff.

But when should i use SINA_POS? when should i use Technology objects?

in fact, the SINAMICS S210 does not have an integrated positioning function. You should use all time the technology objects for SINAMICS S210.
