S5 115 U with WINCC

IYYAPPAN S Experienced Member Joined: 12/6/2006 Last visit: 7/8/2024 Posts: 92 Rating: (0)	Dear All, We are having an S5115U sytem of CPU 943 & the MLFB is 6ES5 943 7UB11 , Recently we bought a WINCC V7.0 1024 RC Package , In that we have 200 Unused tags are there, since we need to archieve some REAL Format datas from above S5 Controller, Can you please tell me how to configure S5 115U with WINCC V 7.0 Regards Iyyappan S

And I assumed you will use AS511 port from CPU to establishe connection. In WinCC, there are communication drivers available in order to establish a serial communication link to the SIMATIC S5 family. • SIMATIC S5 PROGRAMMERS PORT AS511 Communication using programming interface of the respective CPU. Be carefull for each COM port of the WinCC station, a maximum of one PLC is accessible.
