S5 948 R CPU redundant LED status

naga Posts: 101 Rating: (0)	Dear Technocrats, I came across a S5 948 R CPU redundant configuration and in that system secondary CPU "RUN" LED is flashing (I think this is the normal situation), but S11 and S12 LED's are glowing RED. What does it Mean. In Primary CPU these two LEDs are OFF. Could anybody, pl suggest what does it mean and how to reset. Regards, Naga

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/23/2023 Posts: 2987 Rating: (1034)	Hello Naga firstly, you are correct, a flashing RUN LED indicates that this is theStandby CPU and that it is in cyclic operation. As for S11 and S12 I belive you mean SI1 (Serial Interface 1, this is the AS511 programming port) and SI2 (Serial Interface 2, this is the optional second interface). According to the manual BOTH LED's should be off, if they are lit it indicates an internal error.
