S5 95 does not work with numbers real

Hi dear.

I have a s595u but only work with numbers integers, I need work with real numbers.

What do I do?. 

Not if I need to have some library.

You are correct, the S5-95U supports only 16-bit arithmetic, so only integer values can be handled directly in Step 5.

By adding a Basic Functions Library, you can use 32-bit (floating-point) arithmetic. See the attached screecapture, from a 2007 catalog:

I do not know of any other solution from Siemens, and I am not even sure if this software package is still available. Maybe someone with more experience with these controllers can add some hint.
