Hello fjmm SB's are user created and do NOT have a pre-assigned role, hence the manual will not (can not)tell what your SB 121, SB 122 & SB 123 are. In their simplest form, SB's can be used just like you would use a PB in an S5. Alternatively, they could be used as so called "Sequencer" Blocks if S5 Graph was used to createSequencer based logic. You'll find amore detail on the above in THIS thread. My question to you is: What happens if you just open the SB's with Step 5? |

Hello fjmm allright, so it is BS rather than SB that we are looking for. In this case, you'll need to search the (english) manual for "RS" ("BS" is the German mnemonic for it). Having said that, your FB99 is straight out of the 115U manual (see attached) and would be used to measure scan cycle times, you do however say you have a 95U in which caseyou FB99 will not work (itssstem data area contents is quite different to a 115U). Either way, if you want to measure scan cycle time in an S7,have a look at OB1 temp variables where you'll find a variable called "OB1_PREV_CYCLE". It contains the cycle time of the lastOB1 scan (in milliseconds) and can be used todo what was done with RS(BS) 121-123 in a 115U CPU. I hope this helps |
