dhinagaran Experienced Member Joined: 5/12/2011 Last visit: 8/21/2024 Posts: 78 Rating: (1)	DEAR ALL, I am new to s5 platform, i have s5 cpu 100 program now i downloaded this program to download to s5 95 cpu and it is in runing mode. but is there any cpu selection setting in s5 software. like in s7 we have simatic manager hardware configurator. regards, v. dhinagaran.

The addressing is done by slot place or Dip switches at the module, some modules need special functionblocks. The problem is that each family of CPU has it's own way off addressing, even within a family diferent CPU may have different addressing. So you have to check manuals of both CPU for the right adresses of your hardware.
