Hi, For TTY you need 4 wires, see the handbook CP 341 Point-to-Point Communication Installation and Parameter Assignmenton pageB-9. You can check this with the 95U handbook so that the 4 wires are coming on the same pinconnections. So the pins 1, 5, 8 and 9 have to be connected always. Which communication is active in the sending and/or the receiving is depending how the 95U is now connected, you can feed the power for the sending and the receiving current from the pins 2, 3 and 4 depending on how it is now connected.
The table below shows the pin allocation for the 9-pin sub D female connector in the front panel of the CP 341-20mA TTY. 1.4.2 20 mA TTY Interface of the CP 341-20mA TTY
The 20 mA TTY interface is a current-loop interface for serial data transmission.
The 20 mA TTY interface has the following attributes and is in compliance with the following requirements:
But I assume that will be not the bigest problem, how could you make the right software or is it a small display with some pictures? If it is a lot of work, then please get a new display, that would be cheaper and you didn't need a CP 341 and all the software to make for sending and receiving the right data. |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |
