I did some research and have found the following:

what are main differences between V2.0, V2.1 and V3.0

V2.0
- original specification
- defines Masters M0, M1, M2
- address space from 1 to 31 for slaves

V2.1
- creation of analog input/output devices
- The extended address mode is a feature of the AS-i 2.1 specification. In that case it is possible to connect up to 62 slaves to the master.
Using 62 slaves will increase the cycle-time up to 10ms.
Note: The address space is still from 1 up to 31.
One address may be assigned either to one slave in normal address mode
or to two slaves in extended address mode (A- and B-type).
The addres space is increased to 1A to 31A plus 1B to 31B
One of the four output bits is used to select between the so-called A and B nodes.
This enabled each of the 31 addresses to be used twice. The address .
As a consequence of using an output bit as the A/B selector, the fourth output bit is not available to the user.
Binary I/O nodes built to this profile offer a maximum of 4 inputs and 3 outputs instead of 4IN+4OUT.
- Profile 7.4: parameterisable communication profile, e.g. 16x 16 bits per slave
- Masters complying 2.1 are Master class M3

V3.0
- A/B slaves can now have 4IN+4OUT again
- Configurable (8, 12 or 16 bit) fast analog channel
- complex slaves or serial text and data transfer
- ...
- Masters complying 3.0 are Master Class 4

The meaning of the parameters IO code, ID Code, ID1 and ID2

In the manual for the M200D:
IO code is 7 (4in+4out)
ID code is A
ID1 changes the data you will get back as input DI1 (the other DI are fixed)
For ID1=7: DI1 = Motor on
For ID1=6: DI1 = Automatic
For ID1=5: D11 = Group Fault
ID2 is E

Operating Extended AS-i Slaves with Standard AS-i Masters

A slaves can also be operated with a standard AS-i master
If A slaves are connected to standard masters, make sure that the most
significant slave bit (bit 4) of each A slave is set to “0”. The most significant
parameter bit (bit 4) must also be set to “1” (default value).
Without these settings, the A slave cannot be operated with a standard master.

For your M200D,
I did not try it myself, but if you can configure your CP like this,
I guess that it could work. Let us know!
