Hello davemanship The EPROM itself won't be the problem, programsize and/or complexity will be though. A CPU103 has 10 times the internal RAM than a CPU100("10240 statement" vs "1024 statements") anddoes alsosupport more "advanced" instructions (e.g. indirect addressing, substitution operations for FB's, decrement & increment etc. etc.) So assuming your program size is small enough to fit into a 100U (or you can make it small enough), you'll also have to check the program itself and replace any of the"advanced" instructions to make it work (possibly not worth the effort, but if you want to go down this path you'll find all the required info in the S5-100U Programmable Controller manual).
