S5 discret input module question

One of my discret input modules doesn't work properly and i wanna change it to another and see what happens. The problem is that this bad module is labeled 430-7LA11, and i haven't the same module. I have only 430-7LA12 module. Are this two interchangable? Thanks for your replies for advance.

On my 420-7LA11 module the ground wire was only on one group of inputs(like E8.0-E8.7). I think this type of modules have the common ground and that is why it works ok. But 420-7LA12 module did not want to work until i gave a common wire to all input groups.
