S5 download problem

ibrahim1111990 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear Friends, i have S5 system with cpu 928B(6ES5928-3UB12) connected to hmi from pcs810 the hmi defected and i want to exchange it with pc scada , i uploaded the program and modify it but when downloading the message "the block exist in EPROM" showed and "0 blocks transfered" i tried to power of and disconnect the EPROM but the plc didn't go on run mode until i connect EPROM again So, to make scada i must change in the PLC code because it uses aspecial function"Lauer" with old hmi (no IM connection no scada program execution) So 1-how can i download the modified prgram ? 2- if i erase the EPROM with ultraviolate and connect it again plc will the plc go run mode or EPROM fault content ?

Maybe the memory in the plc is to small. To write the program to EPROM you need a prommer. Marcjan Platinum Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 5/3/2024 Posts: 5697 Rating: (715)	Hello, I believe this is the problem: Storing the user program The CPU 928B has two areas for storing blocks: · User memory: max. 64 Kbytes The user memory is on a plug-in RAM or EPROM submodule and contains logic and data blocks (if the user memory is an EPROM submodule, the data blocks whose data are changed by the user program must be loaded in the DB RAM). Data block RAM (DB RAM): max. 46 Kbytes The DB RAM is an additional memory area for storing data blocks.
