S5 instruction

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear friends, I have to migrate a step 5 programm in s7. i tried this by using S5 to S7 convertor with Step 7. But there are 535 errors and 512 warning becos not all s5 instruction can be converted automatically by this. there are a no. of instruction in s5 i dont know the meaning of those. IS there any link for manual where i can get all step 5 instruction list and detaills. so thaat i can manually convert the software. or any one have some suggestion for how should i proceed for ... pls its urgent. thanks in advance simatic manager

Go to the Product Support link at the top of this forum page, and in the Search box write in the family of S5 that your CPU belongs to. The instruction list for that family is in their System Manual, where they also describe the hardware modules and the Step 5 basics. Functions that cannot be translated by the S5 to S7 converter inclyude standard function blocks that are now handled directly by the S7 program (such as analog processing), blocks for communication modules, blocks for synchronisation, indirect addressing functions and such. simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear wizard,, thnks for reply, i m using cpuj 928 b I have gone through the s5 s7 convertor manual but can not get instructions in detaillls. for ex: there is written in s5----- L BS 70 so wht does the BS means. there are several such type of instructions
