Hi Could be a problem between XP and DOS serial port communication. One way is to start up in dos ( pure dos , not from XP) and then start Step5 , another method could be to install software from sourceforce called 'DOSBOX' Also visit http://www.dosbox.com/ for more info cheers |

Grrrr Have try that but this dammcomputer says then not enough memory (Himem) do anyone know to setup Himem when I'm running dos mode ?. Regards Claus |

Here's what I can remember You need a Autoxec.bat and config.sys ( both text files) in the config.sys you have to include you can create these files from the command line : copy con config.sys [enter] type the text you want and close the file by pressing Ctrl Z device=a:\dos\himem.sys device=a:\emm386.exe noems dos=high,umb You can also get the manual from this link Cheers Eric |
