S5 PLC Digital output Bit is continue HIGH.

A9K Bronze Member Joined: 6/1/2010 Last visit: 4/22/2023 Posts: 158 Rating: (1)	Dear Experts. In S5 plc of siemens 155U, Digital output card Q37.5 showing continue High {LED}. we replaced bit at Q37.6 found OK. But why even after removing cable Q37.5 shows Continue High [on LED}. Thanks.

It could also be that the output is set by the CPU, if you place the CPU in STOP, what is happening then? Output out --> Software problem, search if the output is in a bit, byte, word, dubbelword; Output still on --> Hardware problem, replace the Outputcard;
