S5 PLC ERROR

Jason_hunt Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, i have a S5 135U/155U cpu 928b If I power up the system the Run led is off .QVZ & BASP led is on. Digital Input led is ON but All digital output led is off i connect step5 with cpu. upload my backup program (s5d). no problem to upload,but still same error. I don't remember exactly but I put the plc on a stop mode, keep the reset selector in the up position and then put the plc on a run mode. Or try to erase de DB of your program and after upload. Sorry but my english is little. I don't know how your scada is working.

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, the latest screen is showing QVZ which means that a periphery was not acknowlodging a read or a write command from the program. From the manual: Acknowledgement delay during data exchange with I/Os This is confirmed by the fact that the first error screen shows that the CPU called OB23 which is the reaction program to such an error. I expect from what I can see that the error took place in FB57. You could confirm this by reading the B-Stack. First check if you are not missing a 24V voltage that should supply the in and output boards. Because some types of boards have an F+ terminal to enable the periphery board. If all supplies are available, try to read the iStack again. There are several levels (see Depth). Normally I expect that you should reach a depth (F7 = continue) where accu1 = 1E23 and the accu2 is telling you the address (in hex) of the periphery causing the error.

Jason_hunt Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	from my s5d program it has 316 blocks if i transfer all block to PLC Stop, BASP, QVZ Led is ON and all output led is off but input led is on if i deleteOB13 & OB20 blockfrom PLC then, Stop & QVZ led is off. Run & BASP LED is ON (see attached s5d on zip) i already try cold warm reset now can you tell me how can i solve my problem?? which card is faulty digital input card or digital output card or...........?? i checked 24v in output it is all right but why there is no led on in digital output? if 1 digital output card is faulty then every digital output card willstop working??
