S5 Program Upload

KG* Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I having a problem while uploading a program ( All Blocks). Some FB's are uploaded and then after a particular FB the upload is discontinued. An error appears after this block upload. Error - Checksum Error. Can anyone provide a solution to this problem. Waiting for reply... Thanking in Advance

Did you tried to upload the specific block seperate? Pending on the CPU you are using there are maybe some standard blocks, which are buildin the firmware of the CPU and do not requireand cannot be uploaded. Regards.

KG* Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear TIBI68, The CPU is 100U and the block is FB8. And i tried to upload the block seperately but that too did not work. There too it gives Checksum error.

SolutionFinder Posts: 559 Rating: (87)	Dear KG, If it is giving Checksome error then there must be problem in logic. Is your PLC is working fine & all opertions through PLC is OK? May the Block has been corructed then it may give you the error for checksome. Do you have any old backup of PLC, if yes then from that you just download only FB 8 & then see the result.

And i tried to upload the block seperately but that too did not work. There too it gives Checksum error. Hello KG*, can you tell if the FB8 block issomewhat bigger that others in your program? I am just wondering that could be communication problem with your TTY adapter… if so try to slow down the baud rate I hope this helps
