S5 Programming Cable

a_amer Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have a lot of Siemens S5 PLCs (spare parts is 50%) in my plan and I need to make some modifications on the PLC programs. We have Step 5 ver. 7.2 setup on Latop with serial interface RS232 communication ports. please advice me which vaild part no. or which cable can be used. Thank for all members

UMENCHO Diamond Expert Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 10/4/2024 Posts: 10229 Rating: (1181)	Hi The number of S5-PC converter TTY - RS 232 is MLFB 6ES5 734-1BD20. But this cable on PC side has 25 pins connector and you also need convertor from 25 pins to 9 pins. regards
