Just use SFB3 ect. (standard library -> system function blocks) |

you can use IEC timer like SFB3 TP (PULSE GENERATION), SFC4 TON (ON DELAY) OR SFB5 TOP (OFF DELAY).The limitation of time data type would be: from TIME#0.0h to TIME#24.855134d But, I prefer to use some home-made functions to do the task. When I want to have timing in range of hours in range 50 hours I generate a hourly pulses and just count them.Of course I consider the errors in range of minute.I can simply create the idea of 6 types of timers by programming.This is also applicable universally to all kinds of controllers in which you can not find complex function as available in STEP7. regards Attachmentsfb3.pdf (239 Downloads) |
