S5 timer PV value

Should be like this? :C DB 100 :L DW 20 // where should be the parameter :SD T 30 :AT30 := F 40.0 Thanks, Gonçalves

pago06 Posts: 36 Rating: (1)	Hi, BazzLight, Thnanks for replying. After i made some tests with timers i realised that you're saying. That the DW is in KH and the value on it means x.yyy where x is the multiplier factor and yyy is the value to be multiplied. But i'm with some diffulties on this: I need to set the time (PV) to a timer from a parameter DW (that is written from a scada), and the range to this parameter is from 0 seconds to 3600 seconds (1 hour). Wich is the best way to convert the value on the parameter word to the real time value that i need? Can you ( or someone else), help me on this? I'm thinking in something like this: Get the value from Scada and if it is between 0 to 999 i accept the value as it is. If the value from Scada is greater than 999 than i should divie by 10 the value and get some way to get the 3 as first digit on the parameter word. i.e.: if set to 3600 sgs. on Scada the value on the parameter word should be 3360.
