S5 to S7 conversion only one .pb5

Reymond Posts: 112 Rating: (0)	Hello, Goodd afternoon, I just want to ask for a help of anybody here who have experience in s5. I have given a task to study this one pb5 file but I dont have s5 on my laptop only s7. Is there a way I can read this .pb5 on s7 w/out using s5 software? I don't have any experience on s5 before so this one is not easy. Please help. Thank you in advance Warm regards, Alex

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear begginer, please use s5 to s7 conversion tool. go to STRT >SIMATIC>STEP 7>S5 to S7 conversion when u will convert ur block it may possible some error may occur still u can copy the script and paste to a new s7 source file in simatic manager. best of luck simatic manager

Reymond Posts: 112 Rating: (0)	Thank you I can open it now with the com Profibus but as far as i can see this is just hardware config of my dp network. Is it really .pb5 is only hardware config or there other use of it. Thank you very much in advance.....
