S5 TO S7 CONVERSION PROBLEM IN OB,FB

patel Posts: 134 Rating: (2)	HI..... I M converting one project of S5 to S7 (318 2 DP)..i dont know what to do with some OB and FB that are not converting... OB21,OB22, OB31 AND FB250( RLG : AE), FB251( RLG :AA), FB252( L2-SEND), FB253( L2-REC)......... these blocks are not converting and also i cant find out any information ragarding which blocks i need to use in STEP 7 for these blocks............. i have gone through all threads in forum and also manual "s5 to s7 convert".....but i cant find out perfect exact information in this.... so pls help me out in this with correct information as early as possible... here i am attching you my s5 program for reference so you can check it... OB21,OB22, OB31 AND FB250( RLG : AE), FB251( RLG :AA), FB252( L2-SEND), FB253( L2-REC)......... OB's are special blocks called when there is a reason. (could be start up, or any fault) When you know the used S5-CPU, you can find more information in manual of CPU. FB250 and FB251 handle analog signals, you can use FC105 scale (FB250) and FC106 unscale (FB251) in Step 7. You can find in library TI-converting blocks. FB252 and FB253 are blocks for communication Sinec L2, here you need more information about communication. You will have to change it. Best regards, Wizard

patel Posts: 134 Rating: (2)	Hi.... my S5 CPU is s5-95U...and s7 cpu will be 318-2DP..... 1) I HAVE OB21 AND 0B22 IN MY S5 PROGRAM....now if i want to convert these in step7, i found only one OB for both of these..i.e. OB100........so, is it ok if i write program of both OBs in OB100 for conversion....? 2)I have only uploaded program of S5.....now, i want to know whether S5-95U has onboard analog cannel...?if yes then what would be the address for both analog i/p and o/p.....In my s5 program, i found IB64 and QW64...what are they..? 3)if i try to open FB250( RLG:AE) AND FB251(RLG:AA) in s5 program, they are protected and i cant find out any information regarding address,i/p limits,o/p limits etc for analog channel......where can i find these informations in program......?also, if i want to use FC105 and FC106 in STEP7 after conversion what parameters i need to give to those blocks i.e.:i/p , hi_limit, lo_limit etc.... 4)what about FB252 and FB253i mentioned earlier...i cant understand their use and how i can convert them in STEP7.... please see my attched program of S5 and try to find out the solutions for problems i mentioned here.....i have attached program previously..... .

Is there a Reason why you are using a S7-318 to replase a S5-95U ??? 2.) In the attachment I do not see anySymbols File or Assignment List. 3.) A Layout / List / Picture of the I/0 modules of the95U would also help. I did a I/F/Q Crossreverence on theProgram and I can see what is beeing used. But a actual Layout or Part Numbers would be veryhelp full. 4.) I can see that you are using the Onboard Analoug Output . What device are controlling. FB240to FB243 and FB250 to FB253reside on the S5-95U . The only oneyou are using is FB243. The other FB'sshould beremoved bevore converting. In regards to the OB's , if you are using aS7-318theOB100 is forWarm Restart and OB102 is forCold Restart. P.S Did you consult any Manuals???
