s5 to S7 convert

Hello, in order to convert s5 file to s7,

1. start converting s5 files. ( you can find it inside of step 7 in main menu)

2. select s5 file and start convert.

3. after convert, it will create a awl file.

4 . you must start simatic s7, and open a s7 project,

5. and you must one click source file , you will see a empty page at right side, make right click on this page, select " insert new object" and select external source" and find your awl file.

6. make compile it.

7. after compile it, you will see converted block in s7 block,

I have problems trying to convert an *ST.S5D to Step7, because from the manual it says that there are 2 Run instances to do the convertion, but I can't start the 2nd one, is it really needed? If it is, can you tell me how to do it?. From the 1st run I get the following files:

- *A0.SEQ

- *AC.AWL

- *AC.cfg

- *AF.SEQ

and not the file *S7.SEQ, but on the other hand I only get warnings and no errors, but I don't know if it is desirable. And when I compile the file and followed the warnings I see that the function blocks weren't migrated, and some instructions I can't be sure that are ok.

Please, I need help because I don't know if I will be able to run the migrated file.

Thank you very much for your answer, I suspected that but as I loose so many FBs and get so many FCs that aren't initially in the program... I thought I did something wrong.
By the way, I'll do one more question:
About the PBs in step5, where is the logic associated with them in step7? And also the addresses for the input and outputs, where or how can I find it? Cause, as I could see in the *S7.SEQ the addresses disappear, and then I couldn't be able to find them even looking at for the comments associated.

Thank you very much, Amit_86.

You know that the info I was looking for is in the first window of the translation tool, when you insert the name and path for the program to be converted the tool shows a window with the actual name for the FBs, PBs and DBs and the column for the NEW names for them.

So now I can follow the errors with more idea about where they came from.
