Hi, I would convert the S5 controller to Profibus (IM308C). Then you only have to plug the Profibus and motion control wires. If you need a IM308C - i have it in stock. You also can rent it. Regards

One other option less expensive than the Phoenix modules is contained in the attachment. These adapters are manufactured by Siemens.
