Hi Jibin.Mathew the 434-7 is a bit of special 8 channel DI card that caters for Interrupt driven processing. It does indeed occupy 2 Bytes of Inputs, but also 2 Bytes of Outputs (which are written to via the program to tell the card which DI's cause Interrupts and which ones are evaluated on rising or falling edges). Have a look at chapter 9.3 of the115U manual for details on S5 program implementation of the 434-7 and check your S5 program to work out what functionality is used/required per DI to determine how to implement it in your S7-300 (which will require a manual rewrite due to differences with the S7-300 Hardware Interrupt capable DI card). |
