willis Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi . First of all Happy New Year !!! Very lucky day , when i find this forum . Bcs , my well known has ferry lift Guttenberg with S5 inside. Not me and even he know wht to do in case of systen crush or inaccuracy. So, can anyone explain very beggining of S5 testing maintanence etc etc. Thanks for your time BR W.

You need also a cable to communicate with the CPU. Which SIMATIC S5 is it..... Depending on the type you need to maintenance your batterys and your vens !

willis Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi OK OK Processor 928B Have PC with S5 software ( Win 95 ) and cable and interface cards. There are two units , one i guess master and other slave , connected together with 25 pin cable. PC is connected to master. Both units are also connected to some pheriperial equipment like relays, sensors etc. Have floppy with understandable info too. Former technican told its very impotrtant floppy. I guess its user data for exactly this lift. All system still work , but i afraid i ll get phone call then something dont work and i ll not know what to do and how find fault ... If Y can tell me or show way to find useful informacion it ll be very kind BR W.
