Hello nbk YES you can and more importantly, it will work. Onlything to watch out for for is to ensure that you put a valid S5TIME number into DB1.DBW24. While Step7 conveniently displays S5TIME values in "hrs.min.sec.ms", the value behind this display is still made up of a BCD time value anda time base. The attached pdf (courtesy of Step7 help) has all the details on this (note too that the Step7 IEC library has for example FC40 in it to convert TIME values to S5TIME format).
