S7 1200 1215C CPU install into TIA portal

I have load all the software only to find that the 1215C was not listed in the CPU catalog. after spending most of my day unsuccessfully finding a way to update the hardware list, I am asking the question here? I find the Siemens Online help very unusable. It should not be this hard to upgrade software. Thanks so much for the answer.

In that search box in the upper right, I typed this: s7-1215 hardware update. Several of the top search results would eventually get you there, but this general reference might get you there a little faster: /tf/WW/en/Posts/29867 Of course, the Siemens name for what you need is "S7-1200 Hardware Support Pack" and the one specifically you need is #0026. I will not disagree there is often much lacking in the documentation both the online and the pdf manuals. If the online had links to online resources on "youtube video : how to upgrade hardware support", many would find the answers without ever finding these forums.
