That's right. There's not really a standard for these, at best you can use: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/40616248 The block is not protected so you can do minor changes where necessary. |

Greetings It think you should be able, but you will have to use AT commands, and not the Siemens functions for sending mail. Best regards

Hello you can use CP 1242-7 Teleservice module ( https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6GK72427KX300XE0) for Sending / receiving SMS directly from S7-1200. This way you don't need AT commands and use the library provided. you can easily send SMSs to any mobile or another modem. This may be slightly more expensive than Serial Comm. module + Serial GSM Modem but much easier to program. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |
