s7-1200 and PAC3200 problem

rataj Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi I have a problem. I have "SENTRON PAC3200" ands7-1200 and I want to communicate with the MODBUS TCP, but I do not know how to configure the connection. I did the example of CE-X22 but it does not work. I have a TIA 11th Please help me

hschaft Posts: 57 Rating: (8)	The Modbus TCP block defaults the Unit ID to 255 which is recommended by the Modbus TCP specification. Theoretically, this should not matter since TCP does not use the Unit ID, however, the PAC3200 and 4200 need a unit id of 1 to 247. Try this and see if it helps.

Thank for your reply... Hello rcacoretech, Find the application example -Data Communication via Modbus/TCP with S7-1200 (CE-X22)which deals with 2 nos PAC 3200 meters. The procedure is similar in case if you use 5 PAC meters also.
