S7-1200 and recipes

sbartoc Bronze Member Joined: 3/3/2014 Last visit: 11/9/2023 Posts: 234 Rating: (9)	Hello everybody, I have the following configuration: s7-1200(1214DC/DC/DC) and HMI: KTP600 BASIC MONO PN Now, I need to use 15 or maybe more recipes for 15 or more Models, but that panel is not good for this kind of job because the maximum recipes number is 5 and of course, I have not the possibility to change the panel or buy another one. I thought of doing 15 DB for the models, an other one for the "actual model" and a FC in SCL where I change the recipe, but now there's the problem. This kind of function that is based on S7300 , in fact I used the block move there. So, The question is , How do I manage this problem with a S71200?

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1182)	Hi. Which version do you have for the PLC? Giving the full part number will help. If it is an S7-1200 with firmware 4.0 you have another option - there are the ability to store recipes on the MMC card. Code blocks are available to store or retrieve from the MMC. An option I use is to create the an array of all the elements that is required for the recipes. It is actually very easy to use the arrays and structures. For example an element may look like this.. "StorageDB".Recipe[#N].CountTarget where #N is a selector for the particular array. The MOVE instruction in ladder also allows you to move a structure to another structure if they look the same, for example.. "StorageDB".Recipe[5] ----- MOVE ------ "ActiveDB".Parameters Sorry that the above is so cryptic.. hopefully the others will join in an be more helpful to fill in the blanks. Greetings. w

BTW the serial number is 6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0 and the firmware is 3.0. Is still valid your solution? Let me know Thanks :)
