Can you ping your iphone from your PC at the same time you can ping the PLC? Are you sure the wifi on the iphone can sense the PLC? Do you have something on the iphone (app) that can ping the plc so you are certain the iphone can see the PLC? Perhaps a screenshot of your iphone app setup would help? Blur anything you wish to keep private. |

Thanks for the reply; I'll add some pics of the App setting: [snip] ... As you can see in the pics I added one PLC with IP adres and I entered the same login and password as I use to login to the webserver (this is from a desktop, not my iphone) I don't have an app that pings for the PLC. Is this App then so diffrent then the one from android. Because my college doesn't have to ping it. But if I have to do it, tell me how please If you have a suggestion for an App that can do that, I'm sure to download it. Hey huggy_d1 I tested what you suggested. I did a ping to the PLC and my iphone. Both things worked. But still I can't get the PLC on 'green'. No connection :( If you know any other options... let me know Thanks Anny |

Ok, basic requirements: iphone 3gs/4/4s/5+ - check iOS5+ - ?? PLC with firmware 3.0 or higher - ?? web server enabled - ?? English or German language - ?? Minimum TIA Portal V11 SP2 Update 3 - ?? |

Updating from 2.x to 3.x is not an option. I think it really just needs to be firmware 2.1 or higher, though 2.2 is currently highest available for older PLCs. The newer plc's are firmware 3.x. To update to firmware2.2, a special simatic memory card is required to do theupdate. Good luck. |
