S7-1200 auto redirect

hiaxis Posts: 8 Rating: (3)	I have implemented an S7-1200 web server application using html and js and all is working well. I am, for the most part, pleased with the results. However, I am just not happy being unable to bypass the default Siemens pages WITHOUT having to ask thecustomer to link directly to the user configured pages with a bookmark. There must be a way to modify the redirect in the default.mwsl file in the miniweb server built into the 1200 but as of now, I have been unable todiscover the location of this redirect. For our application, it would be extremely beneficial for the user to be able to simply punch in the IP of the PLC and use the Siemens redirect page to direct the user straight to the user pages. There may be a way to do it inladder logicby accessing the webserver db tags but again, I have yet to figure it out. Siemens has provided the methodology to login to the PLC directly from the user pages but still no way to modify the redirect to bypass the default Siemens pages. Why not?Why are we given such limited control over the web server itself? It looks to me like it's built on the open source MiniWeb server and uses MiniWeb Server Language so why is access tothe Siemens implementation of thisopen source serveralso not open source? The default pages just aren't something I want the customer to have access to. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
