simply if you have f.ex. user open communication (I expect due your request longer than 1024, simply never saw that long byte request on serial communication), you can maybe cut your long request to 2 requests and coordinate with other side. Possibilities are everytime. Also look to S7-1200 Profinet port, it can probably send via TCP/UDP more bytes. If you have serial device on other side, suitable Ethernet-Serial converter can be used.

 Here  need to send data to a printer where only serial interface is available..

Our OEM tried with 2 send PTP block, but it is not printing.. With 1 block, up to 1000 bytes it is printing..

So any other possibilities?

ok, in this case that device is printer and required one whole stream with more bytes, my sugested Ethernet connection can be made. If I will have little time today, I'll prepare little test from my S7-1200 and simulated Serial device via that my sugested solution. Sry now think about your info about - to 1kB of data sended, did you mean that printer can't print more than 1024 with one whole stream, or is only about CM module as we discussed before?

confirming, I can send f.ex. 1500 bytes via Profinet port as TCP connection with Ethernet - Serial gateway to my PC serial application as one whole frame without problems, it takes about 2,5 s with speed 9600 on PC side application. So my solution is in my previous posts with integrated profinet port on S7-1200.

very sry my friend about code, but it's simple one TSEND or TSEND_C instruction with defined TCP connection to Adapter (acted as Server with IP and port number), buffer as array of byte with defined LEN as needed, nothing special. If I can recommend to you some adapters, I'm use Moxa's NPort gateways. Be very carefully with some this kind of adapters, I got experience with some packet cutting in output result, but I think you have choice to ask/lend from sellers in your region, business is business. Good luck, also don't hesitate ask for other things.
