I have a little problem. I want to read/write some data from ATR171 which is a temperature controller. The connection shoud be establish with a CM 1241 module RS232/RS485. ATR171 has a RS485 cable(2 wires).The main problem is that my PLC doesn't see any connection via Profibus. Can you help me ?

our controller can be interfaced with any PLC, it is important that communication takes place with Modbus RTU protocol. Attached to paragraph 9.1 describing the features supported by the controller and the various addresses to use.

No sorry that type of functionality is not available.
You do not have a network view to work with.

Only inside your user program
do you specify the address for the device.
This is all software driven for you on the PLC.

 I do. The problem is that I don't know what block from should I use. I searched on internet, but there are so many opinions: Modbus blocks, PTP blocks and others...
