S7-1200 communication with S7-314C-2DP through CP-343-1 Lean

Kolma Posts: 57 Rating: (1)	Hello! Does anybody made this kind communication (send and receive data)? As far I found out it can be only ISO over TCP. There is also an example S7-300-1200 communication ISO over TCP but with CP 343-1 (NOT lean)! I've tried many combinations and I didn't make it. Because I'm really in hurry I would really ask somebody to send me a working example. PS: Both CPU 314c-2DP (CP-343-1 Lean) and 1200 are connected (I can ping both) so ethernet network is not a problem. Thanks in advance, Kolma

I think that to use S7 functions (get / put) you will need to wait up to V11. How many data you need to exchange? In witch time?

Kolma Posts: 57 Rating: (1)	Dear Alexander, you've helped me a lot. Honestly I needed many time to make it work for a small reason. I changed Cp's address in HW configuration and I did not know that was a problem. Anyway now it is working. Only problem is that I would like to send and recieve also mixed data (bool, int, real) and there is only array of one type. Thank you again, Kolma

You can send and receive different data with different types, and you should only see to it that the structure of send and recevie data blocks in s7-300 and s7-1200 were the same. And pay attention to the inputs of AG_SEND, AG_RECV, TSND, TRCV function blocks. Best regards, Alexander
