No, RD_LOC_T (Read Local Time) provides the current local time of the PLC as a DTL data type. So, you need to create one variable DTL type. Then like in this example (just look how to separate the hours and minutes) from DTL variabel. Once you convert hour and minutes in INT (using CONV - USInt to Int), with COMP function with 6 fro hours and 0 for minutes...http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/43256542 Check also How can you determine the elapsed operation time of your S7-1200 application? In your case duration is 12 hours... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Hello Al Hammadi, did you try the online supportentry http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/78788733? You will find different types of timers using DTL format. Best regards |
