S7-1200 Date problem

HristoAt Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi! It seems to be a problem with my S7-1200 with TC module and the time and date. It was running ok but the operator tried to insert the MMC on the wrong side. After that the card switch for write protection was on and the process was running without the MMC, so no data saved. Before that the date was ok but now is showing some crazy time and year 1970. Best regards!

You have the option to set it manually as described above or via programming logic to set the PLC time. There is also an automated method using an ntp service to connect to a time server on your network (or internet if your PLC has external internet access). All this is covered in the system manual. Worth reading it online or download to your computer. Then you can search for topics and go straight there via hotlinks in the table of contents and within the document.
