Here are a few screenshots from my OB82. At the end, added acounter to track when anything happens to the diag error words. A counter value change detector is in the main OB to know whether it's actively getting errors, errors are available to handle, and whether the values have been reset from the HMI. I have verified when I pull power from my analog modules, they fault but the PLC doesn't go into stop mode, and on the HMI, I can see which module faulted and the various IO states/channel #'s associated with the module help decode the actual fault. With more time and better diag value documentation, a very thorough decoding is possible. Perhaps someone will develop and share HMI screens and diag routine for each module :) Maybe it will be built into V11 AttachmentDiag_routine_Networks.zip (1789 Downloads) |
