S7 1200 enabling webserver directly online

Hi, I need to activate the webbrowser on S7 1200. I was wondering if, once on line and connected via TeaPortal it is possibile to activate it without download the project. This becaouse I need to do it on several devices wich have all the same software, but every time I download it I have to reinsert specific parameters. So I woould avoid all this more work.

I hope you have original program with you.You can do one thing.Before changing web server related settings in program you can take snapshot of DB variables in original program and use that program to change web server related settings so that even after downloading modified hardware.It can not change DB parameters.

As you are changing web server related settings on S7-1200 controller then you have to compile hardware and download it in controller.

So, for what I understand I always need to make the change on the program via TIA Portal, compile and download it again on the CPU (after the snapshot you suggest) Is that correct? There is no way to connect the TIA Portal to the CPU and make this vhange on-line?

 Did you read what the previous poster wrote? The changes are made in the HW, and always after that you need to download the HW to the PLC.

Yes Hati, i red the previous post. I wanted just to be sure there are no other ways. I don't know Siemens PLC so good and I need to quick solve these problems. It's just because with other brand it's really easy and fast, and you can change some settings directly online
