Hi all

I am trying to set up communication between 2 PLC’s s7-1200. I use TSEND_C & TRCV_C instructions. When I set TSEND ->CONT parameter to 1 the error number "80A2" is appeared at TSEND ->STATOUS and ERROR output set to 1. At manual this error code means “Local or remote port is being used by the system“.

I followed the instructions of Ethernet Communication: Data exchange s7-1200 <-> s7-1200 of Siemens, But I have still problem. Can anyone help me?

First CPU is 1212C DC/DC/DC firmware v1.0 -> IP 192.168.0.10

Second CPU is 1211C DC/DC/DC firmware v2.2 ->IP 192.168.0.8

Port 2000 and ID 1

I ‘m using Step7 TIA portal v12, and a usual hub

Is it possible the problem to due at different version of firmware?

I used a s7-1200 CPU with firmware v2.2 and I haven’t any problem.

What type o memory card I will need to update the firmware of the first cpu (cpu type 1212C DC/DC/DC, current FW v1.0).

Is it possible to update the FW with different way?
For example, to connect the CPU directly to PC and via TIA portal to download the new version of firmware, like a simatic panel.
