S7-1200 + ET200SP

Hi,

I'm starting an automation of an ammonia plant, my first option was a S7-300 CPU 315-2 PN/DP with an ET200 for remote I/O and a MP 337 Pro HMI Panel, but as I have a too low cost budget, I decided for:

A S7-1200 CPU 1214C with ET200SP for remote I/O and a KTP1200 Basic PN Panel, that are affordable.

MLFBs:

1. S7-1200 CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC: 6ES7214-1AG40-0XB0
2. ET200SP IM155-6 PN ST: 6ES7155-6AA00-0BN0
3. KTP1200: 6AV2123-2MB03-0AX0

Can the CPU 1214C use the ET200SP as remote I/O, right?

Please, I need your advice.

 Like does the PLC stop working if on of the Remote I/O Module is disconnected? 

if PLC is in Run and you disconect then a error OB is called.

if this OB is not loaded to the PLC then the PLC goes to stop.
