I have a problem with a PLC S7-1200 trying to load the project.

I read that the FW version it's not permitted to update, therefore How can I proceed?

Can I exchange the CPU 6ES7 214-1AG31 for a CPU 6ES7 214-1AG40?

if you post the screens here i think you get a answer.
But a external service which need login data
is not a good idea!

Yes you can exchange the old PLC witha newer one, but note that then you must
Check if the TIA Version you use support the newer PLC.
And you must change the PLC in the project to the newer one.

I use TIA portal v13 SP1 fully actualised so I don't understand why this error occurs.

which error do you mean, in the screen is no error.

If you have a PLC 6ES7 214-1AG40 then you should project this PLC and
not the older 214-1AG31.

You can Update the PLC in the project , go to device view right Mouse click on the PLC and
"Change Device/Version"

At least I have success on loading, the problem was referred to the hardware referency on the root of the project, the CPU was 6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0 and the FW version 4.1.

Now TIA doesn't recognise me the following I/O modules:

6ES7 223-1BL32-0XB0

6ES7 221-1BH32-0XB0

FW version v.2.0

Hardware load done each and now it's pretty sure that the referency by program amg HW it's the same.

Led run in ON. Any Idea?

The trouble is that the TIA doesn't recognise me the 2 modules named in the last post.

And therefore there are some inputs and outputs of the code  with a warning advice cause the no recognition.

The diagnosis status of twice appears as unknown is spite of CPU an his  module (Analos output), which appears the green tick.

can you make a offline/online comparsion?
If you select the PLC and right Mouse click  int the Online mode then there is a entry comparsion.

in the comparsion is a tab "Hardware" here you can get detailed comparsion informations.
