Hello shwetha "floating boundary" simple means that there is NO fixed assignment nor division between programmemory (used for OB's, FC's and FB's) and data memory (used for DB's). As such, you can use any or all of the workmemory for OB's, FC,s, FB,s and DB's and only need to worry that the program code and DB's together do not exceed the total available work memory Certain older S7 CPU's had on the contrary afixed amount of work memory for program code and a seperate fixed amount for data, which wasn't all that helpful if you had a lot of program and only a few DB's or the other way round. I hope this helps |
